Eagle Air SMS Privacy Policy and Terms

This policy applies to Eagle Air’s operational SMS messaging program for authorized pilots and crew members.

SMS Program and Opt-In Instructions

Eagle Air’s SMS flight-locating program is available only to authorized Eagle Air pilots and crew members.

To enroll, review the disclosures on this page and text START to (914) 533-1230.

By texting START, you expressly consent to receive recurring operational SMS messages from Eagle Air concerning assigned flights. Messages may include enrollment confirmations, flight-locating confirmations, departure and arrival updates, ETA changes, check-in reminders, and overdue check-in alerts.

Message frequency varies based on flight activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Eagle Air does not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.

Reply HELP for assistance. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.

After enrolling, authorized pilots may send operational commands such as DEPART, UPDATE, and ARRIVED.

SMS Privacy Policy

Eagle Air, Inc. (“Eagle Air,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects and uses mobile phone numbers, SMS message content, and related operational information to provide and administer operational flight-locating communications.

We may use this information to:

  • Confirm enrollment in the SMS program.

  • Confirm flight-locating messages.

  • Record reported departures and arrivals.

  • Send departure and arrival updates.

  • Send ETA updates.

  • Send check-in reminders.

  • Send overdue check-in alerts.

  • Respond to pilot requests and commands.

  • Maintain operational and compliance records.

Eagle Air does not sell or rent mobile phone numbers, SMS message content, or SMS opt-in information.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile information may be disclosed to service providers that assist Eagle Air in operating the SMS program, such as telecommunications, messaging, database, and operational technology providers. These providers may use the information only as necessary to perform services for Eagle Air. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, safety, or security.

Message content and related operational information may be stored by Eagle Air and its service providers for flight operations, safety, recordkeeping, troubleshooting, and legal compliance.

Eagle Air takes reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. However, no electronic communication or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

SMS Terms and Conditions

Eagle Air’s SMS program provides operational flight-locating communications to authorized Eagle Air pilots and crew members.

An authorized pilot or crew member enrolls by reviewing the disclosures on this page and texting START to (914) 533-1230. Texting START constitutes express consent to receive recurring operational SMS messages from Eagle Air concerning assigned flights.

Messages may include:

  • Enrollment confirmations.

  • Flight-locating confirmations.

  • Departure and arrival updates.

  • ETA changes.

  • Check-in reminders.

  • Overdue check-in alerts.

  • Responses to pilot requests and operational commands.

This program does not send marketing or promotional messages.

After enrolling, authorized pilots may use supported operational commands such as DEPART, UPDATE, and ARRIVED. Sending an operational command does not replace any legally required aviation procedure, flight plan, emergency notification, or direct communication with Eagle Air operations.

After opting out, Eagle Air may send one confirmation message acknowledging the request. Eagle Air will not send additional operational SMS messages unless the recipient enrolls again by texting START.

Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission by the recipient’s wireless carrier and is not guaranteed. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

This SMS program is intended only for authorized Eagle Air pilots and crew members. Recipients must not use the program for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorized purposes.

The SMS program is provided for operational convenience and is not an emergency service. Do not rely on SMS messages for emergency assistance, distress communications, or time-critical safety information. Use the appropriate emergency and aviation communication procedures.

Eagle Air may modify, suspend, or discontinue the SMS program when reasonably necessary for operational, technical, legal, safety, or security reasons. Any material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page.

These SMS Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable to Eagle Air, Inc.
